1998: Born.
2006: Learned to skate and snowboard age 8.
2006-2013: Taught science lessons for my 5th grade teacher, worked on math problems at snack break. Learned to surf. Was obnoxiously logical and shy, but paradoxically weird and rebellious. Played a lot of videogames.
2016: Started college at UCSB. Felt hopelessly lost. Began to find like-minded entrepreneurial groups in the Technology Management program. Found Psychology and self-improvement. Broke my shyness.
2019: Won the UCSB New Venture Competition. Studied abroad in Barcelona– got robbed, and ran with the bulls in Pamplona. Graduated college early. Wrote 105,000 words. Worked on a psychology research project. Good year.
2020-2021: Worked as an analyst in tech. Fell in love with Neurotechnology, took a pay cut to pursue EEG research. Bought my own 19 channel EEG system to tinker with. Began a 5 month road trip, living out of my car.
2022: Finished my road trip 11,215 miles across 29 US states. Started work in the UCSD Psychiatry Department. Went in the Pacific Ocean 250+ days. Wrote 120,000 words.
2023: Began a Master’s in Brain & Cognition in Barcelona, working on measures of brain dynamics in EEG data. Wrote 135,000 words.
